Frontier Airlines (F9)
Frontier Airlines is one of the two main ultra-low-cost carriers in the United States. The airline sells stripped-down base fares and unbundles almost everything else, including seat selection, carry-on bags, and checked bags. Frontier is best known for its all-Airbus A320-family fleet, animal-themed tail livery, and Denver-anchored route map that has expanded heavily into the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America in recent years. The carrier operates around 150 aircraft and serves more than 100 destinations across the United States and Latin America. Frontier does not codeshare or interline with other airlines, does not operate a regional brand, and does not fly long-haul international. Its business model is built on high aircraft utilisation, dense seating configurations, and ancillary revenue per passenger that consistently ranks among the highest in the world.
