Louisa is the bylined author on every advice article on CompareFlights.net. She is responsible for the factual accuracy of guides covering US passenger rights under DOT rules, airline baggage policies, airport-parking comparisons, eSIM choices and flight-booking tactics. Where a guide makes a numerical claim — "booking 4–8 weeks ahead is usually cheaper than last-minute" — that claim is sourced and dated, and Louisa owns the call to publish it.

Louisa does not represent any specific airline, airport or travel brand. CompareFlights is independent — there is no shareholder pushing a particular OTA, and the editorial line on which booking option to recommend is decided independently of which partner pays the highest commission. Commission rates never decide what we recommend. If a cheaper or better option exists with a partner that pays us less, that's the one Louisa writes up first; if the best route is straight to the airline, the article says so.
